Philip Tavella, Senior Vice President of Diversified Financial Consultants, Inc., joined the firm in 2005 after twenty years of operational experience within retail management.Prior to joining the firm, he created several retail establishments within the New York area, as well as spearheaded an online wholesale division. His extensive business and management experience have strengthened Diversified’s team and brought valuable insight to our clients. With a client base comprised of professional athletes, high net-worth individuals and not for profit organizations around the country, Phil is a trusted and well-respected member of the firm.Active in his community, he is currently Foundation Director of The Darryl Strawberry Foundation, as well as a crusader for children with special needs. He supports AHRC and recommends programs available to special needs children in schools across the country. Phil is the recipient of the 2009 Shining Star Award for the AHRC Foundation’s Friends of the Brookville Center for Children’s Services Autism Program. He is also Vice President of the Long Island Carting Association of Nassau County. He and his wife Shirley have two boys.
